Minecraft

As an open world survival crafting game, Minecraft pretty much nailed down the formula first. Is it the best one, though? Far from it. In fact, I'd say the fun I get in Minecraft comes when it is pretty heavily modded. Vanilla Minecraft just doesnt have what it takes to engage me enough. So low rating for vanilla, but higher rating depending on the mod pack.
